Good at Communicating – Because you will be working with people who need care and support in some way, they are often vulnerable and often may have trouble with communicating themselves. You need to be able to both listen and communicate with them.

Able to Commit to the Job – Care work requires a lot of dedication and it is certainly a job that you have to have a passion for. Some days can be tough and it can often be emotionally draining.
