The Church Resurgence Post Covid

Statistics clearly show that because the COVID-19 pandemic forced churches to close their doors and restrict attendance, this led to a significant drop in attendance.  With people becoming accustomed to attending services online or finding alternative activities during the lockdowns, many individuals, couples and entire families have not yet returned to any in-person Services.

Overall, the Church lost approximately one in five of its regular Sunday Worshipers during COVID and even though many people have now returned to actively attending Church in person, the figures for congregations are not as high as they were before the Pandemic struck. Trying to encourage a resurgence in attendance numbers, the Church is actively looking at ways to improve its Services including investing in modern Church Sound Systems and equipment, installed by experienced, sound and vision professionals such as https://apicommunications.co.uk/audio-visual-services/church/sound-systems.  Even old church buildings with their nooks, crannies and stone pillars can be brought bang up-to-date with this elite and bespoke communication equipment.  Allowing even those who are hard-of-hearing to fully access the powerful words and music that are so integral to any good Sunday Service.

For Vicars, Priests and Worship Leaders, the most crucial means of conveying their message is the spoken word, whether that’s a passage of Scripture read in a carefully rehearsed Sermon or sung with passion in a hymn. With the world on the verge of chaos with Presidents, Prime-Ministers and Leaders threatening war, the Church needs to bring people together in Peace and Harmony more than ever.
